Each year, the Greater Columbus Arts Council hosts a free Public Forum that gives the community an opportunity to come together and discuss a timely and important topic, as well as ask GCAC questions about our activities, grant programs and more.
The 2016 Public Forum will be 5:30-7 p.m., Nov. 15, in Columbus College of Art & Design’s Canzani Center Auditorium.
Greater Columbus Arts Council President and CEO Tom Katzenmeyer, along with Columbus Museum of Art Executive Director Nannette Maciejunes, will share and discuss the results of research conducted this summer on arts public opinion and funding.
The annual Public Forum is intended for artists, nonprofits, creative businesses, funders and anyone interested in the role the arts play in making Columbus a great city.
The program and Q & A will be moderated by Kate Quickel of WOSU’s Broad & High and the reception will feature music by Urban Strings. CCAD President Melanie Corn, Ph.D. will welcome the attendees.
The forum is free but seating is limited and registration is required by Nov. 11.
