Community Arts Partnership Awards
The Greater Columbus Arts Council will not produce a live event for the Community Arts Partnership Awards in 2020. We will still award an individual with the Michael B. Coleman award and for this year we will create a new award that honors the creative, and innovative ways in which our community has kept people connected to the arts during a uniquely turbulent year. On Oct. 14 we will release a video honoring the Michael B. Coleman Award winner selected by the Arts Council Board of Trustees and announce the four winners of the new award.
Since 1984, the Greater Columbus Arts Council’s Community Arts Partnership Awards have recognize the community’s crucial contributions to the arts including financial support, non-cash contributions, volunteer involvement and board participation. Strong partnerships within the arts stimulate economic growth, promote the city’s revitalization, encourage tourism and enhance Columbus’ cultural image. The arts give life to the city. Help us celebrate those who give life to the arts, each and every year.
The nomination form will go live July 27. The deadline for nominations is Monday, Aug. 31 at 5 p.m.
